Improved flute

.0101.

About us

The years of work that we have put into our innovation known as "Improved Flute Head" has been created by two of us. Flute teacher Zoltán Lakat and engineer Tamás Horváth. Pécs experts were involved in the design. Our work is scientifically based, and the acoustic principle we have applied for the first time and its precise, accurate implementation guarantee the effectiveness of our tuning plugs. The effectiveness of our work is also confirmed by measurements taken by the Budapest University of Technology and Economics.

 For students

Student flutes equipped with our tuning plugs and crown plugs are an easy-to-learn task for music students. The technically easier task is mastered more quickly and children can perform more beautiful and expressive music with the instrumental arrangements they have learned by playing.

 For professional musicians

Professional flutists will also find our works of great help. The newly applied acoustic principle ensures that the sound waves are reflected from the best boundary surface to the maximum extent possible.

In the history of the Flute, the straight (two-dimensional) sounding surface used up to now was easy to produce. A 6000-year-old flute find in China suggests that this has been the case for a very long time. Flute makers of the past have retained the straight round plate as a tuning surface out of respect for tradition or convenience.

"My experience during my active years has led me to believe that a straight tuning surface cannot be good for all notes. My student engineer Tamás Horváth and I started the experiments and the practical implementation. You can read more about this here."
